Train – Drops Of Jupiter

Drops of Jupiter is Train’s second album, released in 2001. The album’s title is derived from “Drops of Jupiter”, its first single, which won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song. The album contains elements of rock, country and indie rock. Besides “Drops of Jupiter”, two other singles were released from this album: “She’s on Fire” and “Something More,” both of which also achieved some success on the Adult Top 40 chart.

OneRepublic – Good Life

“Good Life” is a song by American alternative rock band OneRepublic, taken from their second studio album, Waking Up (2009). The song was written by group members Ryan Tedder, Brent Kutzle, and Eddie Fisher along with group associate Noel Zancanella, with production done by Tedder. “Fix You” is a song by British alternative rock band Coldplay. It was written by all four members of the band for their third album, X&Y. The track is built around an organ accompanied by slow tempo drums and vocals. Blythe Danner, the mother of Gwyneth Paltrow and mother-in-law of Chris Martin, stated in an interview in May 2012 that Chris Martin ‘wrote the song Fix You for Gwyneth when her father died and I weep every time I hear it’.

Bobby McFerrin – Don’t Worry Be Happy

“Don’t Worry, Be Happy” is a song by musician Bobby McFerrin. Released in September 1988, it became the first a cappella song to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a position it held for two weeks. The song’s title is taken from a famous quote by Meher Baba. The original music video stars Robin Williams and Bill Irwin. The “instruments” in the a cappella song are entirely overdubbed voice parts and other sounds made by McFerrin, using no instruments at all. The music video for the song is considerably shorter than the album version.
