“Unfinished Sympathy” is a song by English trip hop group Massive Attack. Featuring vocals from British singer Shara Nelson, the song was released as the second single from the group’s debut studio album Blue Lines on 11 February 1991. The song – produced by Massive Attack and Jonny Dollar – incorporates various musical elements into its arrangement, including vocal and percussion samples, drum programming, and string orchestration by arranger Wil Malone. Upon release as a single, “Unfinished Sympathy” topped the Dutch Top 40 and became a top twenty hit on the singles charts of countries such as Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

“Anything Could Happen” is a song by English recording artist Ellie Goulding, released as the lead single from her second studio album, Halcyon (2012). Written and produced by Goulding and Jim Eliot of English electropop duo Kish Mauve, the song received positive reviews from music critics. “Anything Could Happen” was a moderate commercial performance, peaking at number five on the UK Singles Chart, while charting inside the top five in Poland and the top twenty in Australia, Czech Republic, Ireland and New Zealand. Bonnie Tyler – Total Eclipse of the Heart
“Total Eclipse of the Heart” is a song written and produced by Jim Steinman, and recorded by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler for her studio album Faster Than the Speed of Night. Released as a single in early 1983 in the UK and later that summer in the US, it was the first release from the album and became Tyler’s biggest career hit, reaching number one in several countries including the UK, where it was the fifth-best-selling single in 1983, and the US, making her the first and only Welsh singer to reach the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100. It was Billboard’s number-six song of the year for 1983.
Kenny Loggins – Danger Zone
“Danger Zone” is a song, with music composed by Giorgio Moroder and lyrics written by Tom Whitlock, which American singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins recorded and released in 1986. The song appeared on the soundtrack to the 1986 American motion picture Top Gun. Dann Huff, lead vocalist and guitarist from ’80s hard rock group Giant, performed guitar on the selection. The bass line is a classic 1980s sound comprised in the main of a plucked bass sound from the ubiquitous Yamaha DX7 synthesizer, with the drums being provided by the LinnDrum (a drum machine designed by Roger Linn) which also appears on hundreds of other 1980s pop hits. A tenor saxophone joins in near the end of the song.

“Edge of Seventeen”, also known by the alternate title “Just Like the White Winged Dove” drawn from the first line of its refrain, is a song written and recorded by American singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks, the third single from her successful 1981 solo debut album, Bella Donna. Written by Nicks to express the grief resulting from the death of her uncle Jonathan and the murder of John Lennon during the same week of December 1980, the song features a distinctive, chugging 16th-note guitar riff, and a simple chord structure typical of Nicks’ songs.
