Queen – Somebody to Love (live at Montreal)

“Somebody to Love” is a song by British rock band Queen, written by Freddie Mercury. It debuted on the band’s 1976 album A Day at the Races and was also featured on their compilation album Greatest Hits. The song offers listeners something similar to that of Queen’s earlier hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” with its complex harmonies and guitar solos; however instead of mimicking an English choir, the band turned to a gospel choir.

Avicii – Wake Me Up

“Wake Me Up!” is a song by Swedish producer and DJ Avicii featuring uncredited vocals from Aloe Blacc and work from Incubus’ Mike Einziger. It was released in June 2013 as the first single by Avicii from his upcoming debut studio album True, which is set to be released on September 17, 2013. The song achieved commercial success internationally, peaking at number one in 13 countries and charting on the U.S Billboard Hot 100.

M83 – Midnight City

“Midnight City” is a song by French electronic music band M83. The track was first released in France on August 16, 2011, as the lead single from the group’s sixth studio album, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming. The song was written by Anthony Gonzalez, Yann Gonzalez, Morgan Kibby and Justin Meldal-Johnsen. The track saw international success, peaking at number eight in France and charting on Billboard’s Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts. Due to French network TF1’s use of the song as the closing theme after the UEFA Euro 2012 football matches, the song topped the digital French chart.
