Savage Garden – Truly Madly Deeply

“Truly Madly Deeply” is a song by Australian pop band Savage Garden, released as a single in March 1997. Written by band-mates Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones, the song is a reworking of a song called “Magical Kisses” that the pair wrote together long before recording began on their debut album. “Truly Madly Deeply” was released as the third single from their self-titled debut album. In 1998, it became the main theme from the soundtrack of the movie Music from Another Room, starring Jude Law and Gretchen Mol.

Alphaville – Forever Young

“Forever Young” is the title track from German rock/synthpop group Alphaville’s 1984 debut album of the same name. The single was a strong hit on the Scandinavian area and in the European-German speaking countries in the same year. Though it was not the group’s highest-charting European hit and failed to reach the American Top 40 despite three separate U.S. single releases, “Forever Young” has subsequently been covered by numerous artists.

No Doubt – It’s My Life

No Doubt recorded a cover version of the song “It’s My Life” to promote their greatest hits album The Singles 1992–2003. Because the band was on hiatus, while lead singer Gwen Stefani recorded her solo debut album “Love Angel Music Baby”, they decided to record a cover to avoid having to write a new song.

Annie Lennox – Walking On Broken Glass

“Walking on Broken Glass” is a song written and performed by Scottish singer Annie Lennox, taken from her 1992 album, Diva. Directed by Sophie Muller, the music video is based in part on the 1988 film Dangerous Liaisons, and on period films dealing with the late 18th Century, such as Amadeus. John Malkovich, who starred in the former film, is joined by Hugh Laurie, in character as Prince George, The Prince Regent from Blackadder the Third.
