The song reached the top of charts around the world and stands as one of Warwick’s biggest career hits, selling an estimated 4,000,000 copies worldwide. It made the Top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in January 1983. The track was Dionne’s eighth #1 Adult Contemporary hit and reached #14 on the Soul chart. In the UK Singles Chart, the track reached #2 for two weeks in November 1982.

It was ranked as Billboard magazine’s 80th biggest US hit of 1983.

Rihanna – Diamonds

“Diamonds” is a song recorded by Barbadian singer Rihanna for her seventh studio album, Unapologetic (2012). It was written by Sia Furler together with its producers, Benny Blanco and StarGate. The song premiered on September 26, 2012, during the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and was digitally released the following day as the lead single from Unapologetic. Def Jam Recordings serviced the single to contemporary hit radio in the United States on October 2. “Diamonds” is a mid-tempo electronic and pop ballad that features heavy synthesizers, orchestral sounds and electronic rhythms. The song’s lyrics serve as a departure from the themes of unhealthy relationships that were on Rihanna’s previous singles and contain a prominent concept of love.

“Team” is a song by New Zealand recording artist Lorde, taken from her debut studio album, Pure Heroine (2013). The song was released on 13 September 2013 as the album’s third single in Australia and New Zealand by Universal Music New Zealand, and the second in the United States and the United Kingdom by Lava and Republic Records. The track was written by Lorde and Joel Little and produced by Little, with additional production from Lorde herself. “Team” is a hybrid of alternative pop, EDM and electro-hop featuring synthesiser, bass and snare drum instrumentation over a handclap-based beat. Lyrically, the track is a “tribute to her friends and country”.

Toploader are an English alternative rock band from Eastbourne who formed in 1997, with over two million album sales to their name and a string of top 20 hits both home and abroad. Their debut album, Onka’s Big Moka, sold over one million units and remained in the Top 5 of the UK Albums Chart for over six months. However, they are recognised most of all for their cover of King Harvest’s US hit “Dancing in the Moonlight” written by Sherman Kelly, which became a global hit for the band. Their second album, Magic Hotel, reached number 3 in the UK Albums Chart. Their third album was released in 2012, their comeback single “Turn It Around” was released in 2013.

“You Win Again” is a 1987 song written by Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb and performed by the Bee Gees. Released as a single in late 1987, it marked the start of the group’s comeback, becoming a number one hit in many European countries, including the UK – their first to do so in over eight years, and made them the first group to score a UK number-one hit in each of three decades: the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. As songwriters, the Gibb brothers received the 1987 British Academy’s Ivor Novello award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In a UK television special on ITV in December 2011, it was voted second (behind “How Deep Is Your Love”) in “The Nation’s Favourite Bee Gees Song”.
