Ellie Goulding – Anything Could Happen

“Anything Could Happen” is a song by English recording artist Ellie Goulding, released as the lead single from her second studio album, Halcyon (2012). Written and produced by Goulding and Jim Eliot of English electropop duo Kish Mauve, the song received positive reviews from music critics. “Anything Could Happen” was a moderate commercial performance, peaking at number five on the UK Singles Chart, while charting inside the top five in Poland and the top twenty in Australia, Czech Republic, Ireland and New Zealand. In the United States, the track peaked at number forty-seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

Sandra – Everlasting Love

In late 1987 and early 1988 “Everlasting Love” was a hit in several European territories as rendered by German singer Sandra. Born in 1962, Sandra was familiar with the song via the 1968 Love Affair version; she’d say of the song: “I have always loved it…Even as a little child I heard that song and I said that I would like to sing it sometime.” The video shot for Sandra’s version featured the singer and Austrian model Rupert Weber playing lovers at different points in history beginning with Adam and Eve.

Beyoncé and Shakira – Beautiful Liar

“Beautiful Liar” (Spanish: Bello embustero) is a song recorded by American R&B singer Beyoncé and Colombian Latin pop singer Shakira. It was written by Knowles, Amanda Ghost, Ian Dench, and Stargate members Mikkel S. Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen, and produced by Stargate and Knowles for the re-release of Knowles’ second solo album, B’Day (2006). The mixing of the song was done by Gustavo Celis. “Beautiful Liar” was released on March 14, 2007, by Columbia Records as the first single from the deluxe edition of the album. A Spanish and English mixed version of the song was produced and titled “Bello Embustero”.

Icona Pop – I Love It (featuring Charli XCX)

“I Love It” is a song by Swedish synthpop duo Icona Pop featuring British recording artist Charli XCX. It was released in May 2012 as a digital download in Sweden, where it peaked at number two on the singles chart. The song was added to their debut studio album Icona Pop, as well as their EP Iconic and their international album This Is… Icona Pop.

Rick Astley – Together Forever

“Together Forever” is a song recorded by Rick Astley, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on 18 June 1988. It was Astley’s second and final U.S. chart-topper. It reached number 2 in Britain, being denied the top spot by Neighbours star Kylie Minogue with her debut single “I Should Be So Lucky”. It uses a similar chord structure and melody to “Never Gonna Give You Up” (as with most songs produced by Stock Aitken Waterman at the time).
