“Put Your Records On” is a song by English soul singer–songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae from her debut album, Corinne Bailey Rae (2006). Written by Rae, John Beck, and Steve Chrisanthou, it was released as the album’s second single in February and early March 2006 throughout Europe and as the lead single in North America. Released as the album’s second single, “Put Your Records On” was a commercial success. It topped the UK R&B Chart and Top 2 in UK Singles Chart. The song has since become a major worldwide hit, and along with Top 70 in the United States. It was a nominee at the 2007 Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Carlos Santana – Maria, Maria (live)

“Maria Maria” is a song by Santana featuring The Product G&B. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on April 8, 2000, and stayed there for ten weeks. At the 2000 Grammy Awards, the song won the Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Despite other lead singers from the album receiving awards, The Product G&B were, for some reason, not honored with a Grammy. Marc Anthony also sang on a version of the song.

The Commitments – Mustang Sally

“Mustang Sally” is an R&B song written and first recorded by Mack Rice in 1965. It gained greater popularity when Wilson Pickett covered it the following year on a single, a version also released on his 1966 album, The Wicked Pickett. The song featured prominently in the 1991 film The Commitments and appears on the film’s soundtrack album, as sung by Andrew Strong.

“My Love Is Your Love” is a 1999 song by American R&B singer Whitney Houston. Released as the fourth single from Houston’s album of the same name. Along with the original mid-tempo reggae-influenced version that was produced by Wyclef Jean, a dance remixed version by Jonathan Peters was also released, and notably appeared on the compilation album Totally Hits 2.
