No Doubt – It’s My Life

No Doubt recorded a cover version of the song “It’s My Life” to promote their greatest hits album The Singles 1992–2003. Because the band was on hiatus, while lead singer Gwen Stefani recorded her solo debut album “Love Angel Music Baby”, they decided to record a cover to avoid having to write a new song.

MIKA – Relax, Take It Easy

“Relax, Take It Easy” is the debut single by British singer-songwriter Mika, from his debut album Life in Cartoon Motion. In the UK, it failed to chart upon its original release, but after “Grace Kelly” topped the charts in January 2007. The song makes use of a melody line from the Cutting Crew hit single “(I Just) Died in Your Arms”.[ Greek singer Tamta sang a remixed version of the song at the MAD Music Videos Awards.

The Virgin Suicides is a score by French electronic music duo Air for the film of the same name by Sofia Coppola. The album was released in February 2000. There was a separate soundtrack released, which included music from Heart, Gilbert O’Sullivan and Todd Rundgren. The album was nominated for Best Soundtrack at the 2001 BRIT Awards.

Natasha Bedingfield – These Words

“These Words” (also known as “These Words (I Love You, I Love You)”) is a song by Natasha Bedingfield. It was written by Steve Kipner, Andrew Frampton, Wayne Wilkins and Bedingfield for her 2004 debut album Unwritten. The song is the album’s opening track, and was released as its second single. “These Words” details Bedingfield’s lack of inspiration and her reaction to pressure from her record label to produce a hit song.
