“Nothing Compares 2 U” is a song written and composed by Prince for The Family and the song was featured on their eponymous album The Family. It was later made famous by Irish recording artist Sinead O’Connor, whose arrangement was released as the second single from her second studio album, I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got. This version, which O’Connor co-produced with Nellee Hooper, became a worldwide hit in 1990. Its music video received heavy rotation on MTV. Its lyrics explore feelings of longing from the point of view of an abandoned lover.

“Freakin’ It” is the third and final single taken from American rapper Will Smith’s second studio album, Willenium. The single was released on March 6, 2000. The song was written by Smith with a selection of other songwriters, and was produced by Barnes & Bennett. The single peaked at #15 on the UK Singles Chart, however, was still regarded as a favourite amongst fans.

“Miami” is a 1998 single from Will Smith’s debut solo album Big Willie Style. It samples The Whispers’ 1980 hit “And the Beat Goes On”. The song charted at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 3 on the UK charts. It won a MTV VMA Best Male Video award. The video features an early appearance of future Hitch co-star Eva Mendes. The single was considered to be of a different style to Smith’s previous singles, becoming his highest selling worldwide single of his whole career.
